I have HIGH SERRIA 10.13.6 omn my old iMac. ad I have HP Deskjet Printer 2540 and I  need the software to download. where can I. get this software?

I’ve updated firmware on my HPDeskjet 2540 all in one printer , and l am trying to install the printer software HP easy smart on my IMac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra OS, but it won’t download to my Mac !

how do resolve this !

my printer serial no is CN5696F3TC 

How can l resolve this software issue !  Is there an early version of the software and if so where can l find it 

the App Store only has the updated software that wont download to my IMac!  As my IMac is from 2010! 

if you can please help me ASAP as l have limited time to get this all sorted out !!

@DMTIM, Since your iMac is running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, the latest HP Easy Start might not be compatible. But no worries — here's what you can do:

1. Try this direct link for older macOS drivers:
HP Deskjet 2540 Drivers for macOS High Sierra

2. Choose macOS High Sierra 10.13 as your OS if it’s not automatically detected.

3. Download the HP Easy Start or full feature driver listed there.

If HP Easy Start still doesn’t work, you can try Apple’s AirPrint option to print without additional drivers — just make sure your Mac and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
