My printer won't print or scan. It says it's active but not installed, depending on what program you are running. I have tried unisntalling and re-installing but I can't do that either because the system can't find the installation packet 'Ip-OJ8700MSI.msi'. I have installed the OJ8700_full_webpack_1953 numerous times only to get the same error messages (. I have tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor, it will print the internal page but not the test page (can't find the installation packet 'Ip-OJ8700MSI.msi') (attached is a pic of the advice suggested by the Print and Scan Doctor); support.hp.com; 123.hp.com; the community is my last resort. I hope you can help me.

Sandytechy 20, Thank you for your reply. However, this did not resolve my issues. I still cannot unisnstall the printer..now it says there is another program downloading but when you look at the task manager or the hidden icons, there is nothing else running or downloading. I tried the printui.exe and there were no tabs, only alot of words about the printer. Thanks for your help.
