I have set up the printer, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable, but I’m unable to print. I went through the HP registration process and successfully registered, but there seems to be a glitch that I can’t identify. Please help. All I need is the ability to print. I had to do all this because I got a new Wi-Fi connection.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've successfully registered your HP printer, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable, but you're still unable to print. Here are a few steps to try and  fix the issue:

1. Set the Printer as Default

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click your printer > Set as default.
     

2. Check Printer Status

  • Make sure the printer is online and not paused or in an error state.
  • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer > See what’s printing.
  • Cancel any stuck print jobs.
     

3. Reinstall the Printer

Sometimes a new Wi-Fi network causes driver confusion.

Steps:

  • Go to Settings > Printers & scanners.
  • Remove the printer.
  • Re-add it using Add device.
  • Choose the Wi-Fi-connected version, not USB or offline.
     

4. Use HP Smart App

This tool automatically detects and fixes printing issues: 👉 HP Smart
