I installed a HP DeskJet 2800 series (CB2D8A) on my iPhone SE. It shows that the printer is ready. I make my selections (number of copies etc) and press print and it doesn’t print.

Hi @ru78,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP DeskJet 2800 series printer is set up correctly on your iPhone SE but isn't printing when you send a print job, here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone SE.
- Check if there are any error messages on the printer display that might indicate a connectivity issue.
Restart Devices:
- Turn off both your printer and your iPhone SE.
- Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn them back on.
- Once they restart, try printing again to see if the issue is resolved.
Update Firmware and App: Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can usually check and update this through the printer's settings menu.
- Ensure that your HP Smart app on your iPhone SE is updated to the latest version from the App Store.
Check Print Queue:
- Open the HP Smart app on your iPhone SE.
- Check if your print job is stuck in the print queue. If so, try cancelling the job and printing again.
Printer Settings Check:
- Verify that the paper tray has enough paper and that there are no paper jams.
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink.
Reinstall Printer (if necessary):
- If the issue persists, you may need to delete the printer from your iPhone SE and reinstall it.
- Go to the settings on your iPhone SE, find the printer, and remove it.
- Then, go through the setup process again to reconnect the printer to your iPhone SE.
