@dgodan, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Pavilion drivers!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you've updated the drivers on your older HP Pavilion and are now experiencing issues, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Roll Back the Driver Update:

  • Open Device Manager, locate the device causing issues, right-click it, and select "Properties."
  • Under the "Driver" tab, click "Roll Back Driver" to revert to the previous driver version.

Reinstall the Drivers:

  • Access the HP Support website and download the latest compatible drivers for your specific HP Pavilion model.
  • Uninstall the faulty drivers from Device Manager and then reinstall the downloaded drivers.

Update Windows:

  • Ensure your Windows OS is fully updated as sometimes driver issues are resolved through OS patches. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
