Hello All, 

 

my printer works fine. I am able to print. I’m trying to scan items in and when i go on the HP app, and sign in, it gives me error code : 

OW_500_OWSID00001. Please help if you can! Thank you in advance

I understand you are getting OW_500_OWSID00001.

 

The reason for this error is:  

 

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection is causing the error. Disconnect the computer or mobile device from the VPN, and then return to the HP app to complete the setup.
