Hi @Tamicla,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error message "59.C0" on an HP printer typically indicates a problem with the printer's internal motor or fuser. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.
- Power Cycle: Since you've already tried turning the printer off and on, you can try this again. Make sure to disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer, wait for at least 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Power it on and check if the error persists.
- Check Connections: Ensure that all cables, including the power cable and any data cables (USB or Ethernet), are securely connected to the printer.
- Check for Obstructions: Open the printer's paper tray and input tray, and make sure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.
- Reset the Printer: You can try resetting the printer to its default settings. To do this, turn off the printer, and then hold down the "Stop" button (the button with a red X) for at least 15 seconds. Release the button and turn the printer back on.
- Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can visit the HP Support website, enter your printer model (M227fdw), and download the latest firmware if available.
- Fuser Inspection: The error could be related to the fuser assembly. Check if there is any visible damage or loose components in the fuser area.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
