HP LaserJet P1006 Printer

Hi, I just got a new MacBoor Air M4 w/ MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2. While the MacOS printer section of System Settings recognizes my HP LaserJetP1006 when I try to choose or add it to the printer selection, I get a ""Filter" failed" message when I try to print.

 

I spent 30 mins on the phone with Apple Customer Support and they couldn't fix it since the HP Smart App is outdated and the Printer Driver for the P1006 on the HP website does not work w/ MacOS 15. 

Any suggestion how I can get a functioning driver for my LaserJet P1006 from HP or from another source? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
HP LaserJet P1006 Printer supports up to macOS 10.12. 

You can however, use Airprint - About AirPrint - Apple Support
AirPrint is a built-in printing solution for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. You can print from most apps that have a print feature.
