I need to install, preferably wirelessly, an older HP printer, 2007.  It states the drivers are unavailable.

There has to be a way! Please help!

Thanks for clarifying.

 

Connect the printer with a USB cable to your Mac and confirm any prompt to install its drivers from Apple Software Update.

 

Next. open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and double-click the printer.

Click on Printers Options and then open the Utility tab, from there open the HP Utility.

 

Click the Wireless Configuration icon within HP Utility and follow the steps on screen to connect it wirelessly.

 

Once the wireless connection completes, click the plus sign under Printers & Scanners and add the printer listed as Bonjour.
