HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdn
Microsoft Windows 11

I need some help getting an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw connected to a Windows 11 computer. The computer does see the printer and correctly identifies it but says no driver available. I went to HP Support "Solutions Center" and downloaded a file that indicates in includes drivers and software for this printer. However, when the install runs it gets to a point where it tells me to connect to the printer via USB and I do so. Problem is there is only a back button on that screen of the install an no matter what I do it will not proceed, not even to an error screen.

I suggest that you try the HP UPD printer driver. Download both the items shown as circled. I advise installing the second item first to ensure that USB support is available for the driver and then install the actual driver. Connect the printer after that is done.
