Cannot access Microsoft Store on company computers. We need an alternate method to download drivers for the HP printers that our remote workforce uses from home.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Which printer models are you looking for?
For example, if you need to install "Offline copy" of the HP FULL solution Software, simply select the OS as "Win 7 (32 or 64-bit) > Software Utility > Download the Offline copy.
Example:

You can update your drivers here:HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
Hope that helps!

Thanks. The specific driver I'm looking for is for a Deskjet 3830, but it's a moot point because our work-at-home employees (pretty much the whole company) might have different printers at home.
HP went to this model where, to download a driver, you need to use the HP Smart App which you get from the Microsoft Store.
Access to the Microsoft Store is not allowed by Group Policy on their company provided computers.
I need a way to just download the drivers I need (when the need comes up for a variety of printers) without the hassle of going through the Microsoft store. There has to be a work-around to this. Please let me know. Thanks.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did watch the YouTube video you posted. In that video, to me, it looks like the only saving grace is that for the driver the creator was installing, there is a little link that got him past needing to use the HP Smart App. The link said something like Use CD Instead. This is not an option in the driver I tried to download. When you download a "driver" from the HP site, you are not actually downloading the driver like you used to. Now, it starts the install but then forces you to download the HP Smart App from the Microsoft Store to get all the files it needs (I assume).

Sorry, I can't be of any help, but I read your thread. I too want to have just a simple driver download option, forget the 123hp.com and HP Smart mess.
Good luck.
Update: I tried the method that the youtube video link documents. It worked, but in the end Win10 still complains that there is no device driver.

Actually, if you follow the video and download the file he says, when the prompt says use the CD, click on it. It automatically knows that the files were included in the download. It never tried to access a CD, for me at least. Not real clear on HP's part.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I noticed that on the video as well, but for the driver I downloaded (for a different printer) there is no "use CD" link. It keeps trying to force me to use the HP Smart App but it can't because I can't access the Microsoft Store. It's kind of infuriating that HP adopted this model. I understand their reason for it, but I can't understand why they seem to have not offered any other method for downloading drivers. It was so easy for their customers before. Now, at least for a small number of customers, it is impossible.

Greenturtle - any other advice? Do you know of a way to get the drivers that used to be on the HP website that contained everything needed to install without pointing me to use the HP Smart App and the Microsoft Store?
I appreciate your time and any other advice you might have.
We are a company that uses HP printers exclusively and many of our at-home workers also have HP printers. We are having difficulty helping them install drivers for their at-home printers on our company computers that have the Microsoft Store blocked by Group Policy.
Thanks.

Hi @RolandKorg
We were able to download the HP FULL solution software (not HP Smart).
It's a bit tricky with HP Easy Start (the apps that walks you through the steps), but the HP FULL software is there.
Alternatively, try to select Win 7 as the OS and the FULL software may be able to be downloaded to a USB thumbdrive for offline install.
Here's a few other videos that we found that had the HP FULL software, the process to get it might have changed but it is possible.
