Hi @Grammy0206 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are the steps you can follow to install OCR software on Windows 11:

Choose OCR Software: Decide on the OCR software you want to use. There are both free and paid OCR tools available. Some popular choices include Adobe Acrobat, ABBYY FineReader, and Tesseract.

Download OCR Software: Visit the official website of the OCR software you've chosen and look for a download section. Download the installer file for the software.

Install OCR Software: Double-click on the downloaded installer file to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the OCR software on your Windows 11 PC.

Configure OCR Settings (if necessary): After installation, you may need to configure the OCR settings within the application. This might include selecting the language for recognition and adjusting other preferences.

Connect and Set Up Your HP ENVY 5052 Printer: Ensure that your HP ENVY 5052 All-In-One Printer is connected to your Windows 11 PC and is set up correctly. Make sure you can print from your PC to the printer.

Use the OCR Software to Scan: Once the OCR software is installed and configured, launch the application. Look for an option related to scanning or document recognition. You may find this option in the main menu or toolbar.

Follow the Scanning Process: Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the scanning process. Typically, you'll need to load the document into the scanner, choose scanning settings (such as resolution and color settings), and then start the scan.

OCR Recognition: After the scanning is complete, the OCR software will process the scanned image and recognize the text. You may be prompted to review and edit the recognized text if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
