Product: HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer - G510g
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Officejet 4500 G10g printer.  I was instructed by the HP Print & Scan Doctor 5.7.1 to erase the printer program.  I did this and then I tried to reinstall the program using my original program disk CB867-10002 V.1.0000.  When the disk program displayed on the screen, I was instructed to enter INSTALL but this did not show on the screen.  the only thing I was allowed to accept was EXIT.  I think there is something wrong with my software.  What do I do about this problem.  Will I have to purchase a new printer?  Thak you.

That disk is for WIN7 XP and Vista it will not work un WIN10
