Hi @Diab85 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're trying to upgrade the firmware of your HP Laser 107W and need the admin password to access the printer’s web interface, but don’t know it, here are a few options to consider:

Default Admin Password: HP printers typically have a default admin password if it hasn’t been changed. Try using the following:

  • Username: admin
  • Password: 123456

Reset to Factory Defaults: If the default password doesn't work and you don’t know the current password, you can reset the printer to its factory settings. This will remove any custom configurations, including the admin password. To reset the printer:

  • Press and hold the "Cancel" button on the printer.
  • While holding "Cancel," press the "Wireless" button.
  • After a few seconds, release the buttons. This will restore the printer to its default settings.

Firmware Update Process: Once you’ve reset the printer or logged in with the default password, you can proceed to upgrade the firmware. Follow these steps:

  • Access the printer’s web interface by typing the printer’s IP address into a web browser.
  • Log in with the admin credentials (default admin / 123456 if not changed).
  • Go to the "Firmware" section in the settings, and follow the instructions to update to the latest version.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
