I installed Windows 11 last week on my laptop and now I can no longer print anything on my HP Envy 5660 printer. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer. I realized that no print driver from HP is compatible. How can that be?
The printer can still scan documents. I can still send documents to print from my phone. Both the laptop and printer are connected to WiFi.
What do I need to do in order to print to my printer?

I realized that the installation was hung up in Task Manager and would not respond to End Task. Once I fixed that and also forced Task Manager to end task, the rest of the installation flowed properly.
Thank you very much!

Hello @T2-L5 ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here is what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP ENVY 5660 e-All-in-One Printer Series Full Feature Software and Drivers
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads click on the EXE
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the PC again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I did not succeed. Here are Snippits and the first one shows the HP software still in my Apps. First question: Can any of them be uninstalled?
But then it looked like it completed a task after I took this Snippit.
Then I got a message saying the device was unable to be installed over the network. I clicked on Search for Solution and no solution to the problem could be found.
Second question: Did I miss something?
Thanks.
