I've been trying to set up my new printer (see above)
It sends me to the App Store. It won't accept my password and I'm getting increasingly annoyed. This is 6th printer I have set up over the years and it's the first one I have had this level of hassle with.
I simply want to add it to our printer list so that all computers and devices can use it. I do not want to download software from the App Store or any other software. Why do. you make it so difficult?
There is supposed to be an option for printer set up on your site. Where is it

Hi @cailin95,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you have trouble setting up or adding the HP Smart Tank 5105 All-in-One Printer with the Mac Os device and are not able to use it.
Please try the steps shared below and let me know if this helps.
Print from a Mac computer (Wi-Fi models)
1. Make sure you have installed the HP Smart app. See Use the HP Smart app to print, scan, and manage.
2. From the computer, open System Preferences, and select Printers and Scanners.
3. Click the Add button/icon + , select the printer from the printer list, and then click Add.
4. Once connected, open the document you wish to print and use the Print command.
5. Make sure the desired printer is selected.
6. Change any print settings.
7. Click Print to print the document.
If you still face issues, please try the steps from the HP link, which has steps and instruction videos to help with the setup
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
