Hello! My issue is this... I upgraded my WiFi, new router, new name & new password. Everything's fine with the new WiFi connection, everything else is working but my hp envy 6000e won't connect. I don't have a computer, I do everything from my phone. It set up easily from my phone when I first installed it. I press the restore WiFi button, at the back for 5seconds, it turns purple light sweeps along the edge it's good to go ..
I go onto hp smart app, add printer, it finds printer, add to network? I enter the WiFi password, everything looks ok, then it chucks me out... It says an unexpected error has happened & try to connect with a computer...I don't have one.
Do I...
1) restore factory settings? If so how? Can't find it in hp smart.
2) keep trying on the hp smart app, is there something I've missed? Some enter new WiFi code?
Help with this would be great!
Thanks in anticipation!

Hello! Thanks for getting back to me! I actually abandoned the app anyway prior to your reply & managed to get back onto the WiFi network.
I did this by pressing the Information button until all the buttons were lit up, then I pressed the power button & WiFi button at the same time (buttons on the back of the printer, you need a pen to push the WiFi button ...) this put the printer into set up mode. Then I pressed the WPS button on the new WiFi router & it worked! Huzzah!
This is not how it's supposed to work according to anything I read on line or the help sheets the printer printed out, which just turned into a spiral of misery!. This turned into a process of elimination, abandoned the app after many, many attempts. So many I now know my WiFi password off by heart! 🤣 This worked for me, please pass it on to any other frustrated poor soul, who are contemplating just buying another printer!
