Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
You can change your printer settings to print in black and white (grayscale) through your laptop by adjusting the print preferences. Here’s how:
For Windows 11:
- Open the document or file you want to print.
- Press Ctrl + P or go to File > Print.
- Select your printer from the list.
- Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Look for Color Options or Print Quality.
- Select Black & White or Grayscale.
- Click OK, then Print.
For macOS:
- Open the file you want to print.
- Click File > Print.
- Select your printer.
- Click Show Details if necessary.
- Under Color Matching, select Black & White or Grayscale.
- Click Print.
If your printer doesn’t have an option for grayscale printing, you might need to install the latest driver from HP’s support page. Let me know if you need help!
