Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I use a USB cable and have no need for connecting through wifi.

I turned off wifi on the printer but it still shows when I see the wifi channels available on my laptop.

I want to disconnect the wifi

You need to turn off the WiFi and turn off Wireless Direct in the printer.

I didn't but now i have.

 

When i turn off wifi-direct I can't turn off Wireless

and the other way around

I just can't move the slide to the left.

 

the good thing is that by turning off wifi-direct instead of Wireless, the wireless name doesn't show in the chanels anymore so i guess it's not emitting wifi.
