Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP LaserJet IIP I purchased in 1988 and I would like to use it with Windows 10 for printing .PDFs.  Any suggestions for drivers or setup to use this printer.

Hi @Harvburton

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that the laptop is quite an old model and may not be compatible to Windows 10 or 11.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

My best advice is that you get a jet direct adapter for it so you can network it. Parallel and USB are going to be nearly impossible to work with.  In terms of drivers, I would try the Laserjet 4000 or 2100 drivers.  This will be a project and I offer no guarantees, just giving you the best option based on my experience.
