I was scammed by Geek Auto Buzz by trying to set up my Hp Laser printer. I was pressured into buying a Network Security System that I did not need and did not know what I was doing after telling then I had to wait for my husband to wake up because I didn't know what they were selling. They pressured me and scared me into purchasing this Network Security System after I let them into my computer to set up printer. They showed me my passwords I had used in the past and said people were trying to get them and that I needed security. I returned the printer and it was replaced. I then called DN Solutions phone number, [content removed], on the new HP Printer to set up this one. The man then told me Geek Auto Buzz was a scam and I needed to purchase his Network Security System. This scared me into this purchase of PrintMeNow. I can not get my moneys back from my credit card or paypal after disputing. The agreement that I agreed to is impenetrable and I would have to hire a lawyer which I cannot afford. Both Geek Auto Buzz $792, and PrintMeNow $534 are scammers on seniors and pressured me into purchasing.

Yours is a sad tale and I'm very sorry it happened to you.
Yes, it was all a scam of the worst type.
Yes, once you let the thieves into your computer they had access to everything that is not tied down behind encryption.
Your computer was never full of bugs.
The worst breach happened when you allowed the rats to sign into your computer.
The problems were compounded again and again until you lost your printer, your security, and your money.
The general recommendation:
Call your bank and tell them you are the victim of fraud.
AND
Report the incident -
AND - Dragon Comments
Talk to someone about what happened.
You are not the only victim.
Talk to a friend, colleague, family member, community group, church leader, or neighbor.
These Rats are sneaky, persuasive, and yes - frightening !
Some scammers are forced into what they do - unfortunately, the results are the same.
It is a hard lesson - I'm sorry you were scared.
