I want to know the userid and password for login to hp5740 printer.

I have already tried admin/admin, admin/blank, and blank/blank

None of the above three work. Could you please let me know what credentials should I use to login to the printer's webpage?

Thanks,

Hi @mintu123,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with the default username and password for the web interface may vary depending on the specific firmware version and settings configured by the manufacturer. However, if the default combinations like "admin/admin", "admin/blank", and "blank/blank" haven't worked for you.

Here are a few additional steps you can take to try to access the printer's web interface:

Reset the Printer: If you're unable to access the printer's web interface due to forgotten credentials, you may consider performing a factory reset on the printer. This will reset all settings, including the login credentials, to the default factory settings. Please note that performing a factory reset will also erase any custom settings you've configured on the printer.

Refer to this document: HP OfficeJet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer series User manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
