Product: HP 1020 LASERJET
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan
Is it not possible to install the drivers to this printer? Apple says it does not have product to do this....WTH.. ITS APPLE..dont they caim there the best in the biz? please help 911

Hi,
Generally, the HP Laserjet 1020 printer is not supported on Mac OS as listed below:
You may try the following workaround and see if that may work for you:
- Download and install below drivers:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US - Power on the printer and connect it to your Mac.
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign.
- Select the shown 1020 printer and click the Use drop-down menu.
- Click on Select Printer Software.
- Search for 1022 and add the HP Laserjet 1022 printer, then press Add.
Now try printing using the newly added printer and check.
