I'm currently using the USB to connect my printer but want to use a CAT5 network cable.

The IP address on the printer is given as:

00-68-EB-EC-DC-CF

What is this nonsense?

None of my computers can see it on the network and the HP smart setup can't see it unless I use USB.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

That is MAC address, not IP address. Restore printer network settings to factory defaults.

Yes, a MAC address.

Unfortunately, each time I use the printer controls to try and reset the network settings to factory spec, it says it has done it but the display still shows the MAC address.
