Hi @SANJU4090,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Printer Status

Power on the Printer:

  • Ensure that the printer is turned on and has no error lights or status indicators showing any issues.

Check Network Connectivity:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your PC if using a network connection.
  • For USB connections, ensure the cable is securely connected between the printer and the PC.

Set the Printer Online

Open Settings:

  • Click on the Start menu and select Settings.
  • Navigate to Devices > Printers & scanners.

Select Your Printer:

  • Locate your HP LaserJet Tank MFP 1005 printer from the list.
  • Click on it and select Open queue.

Change to Online:

  • In the printer queue window, click on Printer in the menu bar at the top.
  • Ensure that Use Printer Offline is unchecked.

Restart Printer and PC

Restart Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

Restart PC:

  • Restart your computer to refresh the connection.

Step 4: Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

Visit HP Support for Drivers:

Install Drivers:

  • Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to update or reinstall the printer drivers.

Check Printer Spooler Service

Open Services:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Locate Printer Spooler:

  • In the Services window, scroll down to Print Spooler.

Restart Service:

  • Right-click on Print Spooler and select Restart.

Step 6: Add Printer Again

Open Settings:

  • Click on the Start menu and select Settings.
  • Navigate to Devices > Printers & scanners.

Remove Printer:

  • Select your HP LaserJet Tank MFP 1005 printer and click Remove device.

Add Printer:

  • Click Add a printer or scanner.
  • Follow the prompts to add your printer back.

I hope this helps.
