I just received my new smart tank 7602r all in one printer, I have installed it several times using HP Smart, I have followed all the instructions and when I go to print or to align printer heads I get a message that says, "SET-UP INCOMPLETE+YOU MUST SET UP YOUR DEVICE USING HP SMART".......I HAVE DONE THIS MULTIPLE TIMES.

I just received the same printer model and am experiencing the exact same issue. I’m telling you—I’ve tried everything. I’ve probably set this printer up over 18 times, and I’m still getting the ‘Setup Incomplete’ error.
I spoke with an agent today who told me this is a known issue. HP is aware of it and is currently working on a fix. He said the issue should be resolved by Monday.
However, I’m not sure how accurate that is because before speaking with him, I was chatting with another agent who told me the problem was due to me using an iPhone, and that I needed an Android device or a Windows computer to set it up properly. The agent I spoke with this morning told me that information was incorrect.
I really hope this gets resolved by Monday because I work from home and I’m also in college. I depend on my printer, especially for schoolwork and studying
