Incorrect paper size

Printer no longer has option to print 4x6 photos. Always defaults to 5x7 with no 4x6 option.

I understand your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer is defaulting to 5x7 and not giving you the option to print 4x6 photos, here are some steps you can try:
 

Check Printer Settings:

• On the printer’s control panel, go to the Print settings or Photo Print settings and look for options to select paper size.
• Ensure that 4x6 is selected and not defaulting to 5x7.

• Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP Support website.

Check HP Smart App Settings:

• If you're using the HP Smart app, go to the print settings within the app and verify that the paper size is set to 4x6.

Reset Printer Settings:

• You might try resetting your printer settings to default. This can sometimes resolve issues with paper size settings.

Check Paper Tray:

• Ensure that the paper tray is correctly set for the paper size you are using. If it’s set for 5x7, the printer might default to that size.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

• Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP Support website and apply it if necessary.
