Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am in the process of setting up my printer and it got as far as putting in the ink, and beginning the test phase. It is stuck on the Initializing ink system  It has been on that screen well over 20 minutes, and I know it doesn't take that long. I have turned it off once and restarted it, but it is stuck on that screen. It hasn't printed anything but one blank page.
