Hi @LUKE1965

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If Windows 7 drivers for your HP printer are unavailable, you can use the built-in driver provided by Windows.

Here's how:

1. Connect the Printer:

  • Plug your printer into the computer using a USB cable or connect it to the network if it's a network printer.

2. Add the Printer:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Add a Printer.
  • Select Add a Local Printer or Add a Network Printer, depending on your connection type.

3. Select Built-In Driver:

  • When prompted to choose a printer driver, select Windows Update to refresh the list of available drivers.
  • Look for your printer model in the updated list and select it.

4. Complete Installation:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
  • Once installed, print a test page to confirm functionality.
