Hi @mrsdemoica,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Check Compatibility and Updates
- Ensure your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Go to Windows Update and install any pending updates.
- Confirm that your printer model is compatible with Windows 11.
2. Download the Latest Drivers
- Go to the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e All-in-One Printer driver page on the HP website.
- Download the most recent driver and software package for Windows 11.
3. Clean Up Previous Installations
- Uninstall any previous HP printer software and drivers from your computer.
- Disconnect the printer from the computer and restart your device.
4. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool designed to diagnose and solve printing and scanning problems.
5. Manual Installation
- Try manually installing the printer driver by using the Device Manager.
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Find your printer under Print queues or Other devices.
- Right-click the printer, select Update driver, and choose Browse my computer for drivers.
- Navigate to the folder where the downloaded driver is saved.
6. Temporary Disable Security Software
- Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software as they might block the installation process.
7. Use a Different USB Port or Cable
- If you are using a USB connection, try using a different USB port or a different USB cable.
8. Check for Windows Troubleshooting Steps
- Run the Windows Troubleshooter for printers.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Select Printer and then Run the Troubleshooter.
I hope this helps.
