Printer 5275
Microsoft Windows XP (64-bit)

I downloaded DJ5200_Full_WebPack_44.3.2218.exe file for the 64 bit OS. after I run it, a window is opened but printer is unrecognized, also aftre power it off on on again or disconnecting and reconnecting usb cable.

PC has winXP 64 bit SP2 operating system.

Should I install other software/drievr ?

Is Win XP supported  only for SP3 ?

Thanks,

Ronen

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you having issues in installing the printer driver.

I made a research and see that Windows XP drivers for your printer is not available.

However, you try installing the printer with universal driver:- Click here

(Note:- your printer will have only basic printing functionality)

If that does not work, you will have to upgrade the operating system on the computer.

Let me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Hi,

Thanks for the answer, but I did find drivers for this printer. Only for Win Xp SP3 is supported.

I upgraded the operating system to SP3 and the installation of the printer drivers went fine.
