I am trying to install a new LaserJet Pro M15a on a PC that works on Windows 10 pro 64-bit operating system, version 2004. I am using the software from the HP website and my windows is updated. The printer is connected to the PC via USB cable. During the installation I am getting an error message, saying that there is no connection between the printer and the PC. I tried all available USB ports with no success. Also, in order to check the printer and cable, I successfully attached the same printer and cable to the old notebook and it worked.
Please help me to solve this problem.

Thank you for your help.
I had already tried with HP print and scan doctor and tried to uninstall and reinstall drives, but it did not help. Finally, I asked for help from a colleague. He solved the problem in that way that he install the printer drivers by pretending that the printer is connected through some other port and after successful installation change the settings to the USB port. Hope that helps someone with a similar problem.
