HP Laser Jet Professional P1109w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I connected my printer to my PC  via USB cable the printer was installed automatically as "HP Laser Jet 1100 series with an amber triangle.

I launched the troubleshooter. It found "p1100 USB EWS device driver has a driver problem".

I clicked on the message.

The troubleshooter found "HP Laser Jet p1109w is not the default printer"

I clicked on do not fix as my other printer is the default.

I then looked at the troubleshooting report.

Besides the default notification, It showed "Problem with PnP devices          detected"

                                                                                 "Problem with printer                    detected"

I Clicked on "Next" and then "Close".

I Clicked on "Properties" on the printer list.

I Clicked on the "Hardware" Tab.

In the "Functions" list it showed

"p1109w USB EWS Device Driver" and has an amber triangle next to it. All other entries were fine.

I Clicked on "Properties"

Under "Device Status" it showed

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. Code 39"

            "Object Name not found"

I was able to print a test page. I just don't like having mysterious things associated with my printer.

Can you help me with this?
