HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn
Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Hello all
I would ask for help in installing the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130fn printer on Windows Server 2012 R2.
I am downloading the drivers that are available on the page, but at the installation I get an error that the printer can not be installed.

I tried this method, however, without success.

Is there any method to install this printer on Windows Server 2012 R2?

Hi.

Please download and extract below installation:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/COL71137/LJM129-M134_UWWL_4-1_UW_4_1_Basicx64_44....

Next, install its drivers via the command line by adding an ENTERPRISE=YES argument as listed below, see the Customize the installation section, that should allow installing the printer:

https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c03351547#Installing_on_Windows_Servers

If you experience any similar problem, please try extracting and installing the following installation file instead:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/COL71129/LJM129-M134_UWWL_4-1_UW_4_1_Full_WebPack...

Thank you for the quick reply
We've already tried to install via the command line with the files from the first link.
The commands we gave below. I have installation logs.

>msiexec.exe /i E:\install\LJM130\LM129x64.msi /qn /l*v E:\install\LJM130\LM129x64_install.log ENTERPRISE=YES FAX=NO CONNECT_NEW_PRINTER_SHORTCUT=NO UNINSTAL_SHORTCUT=NO REBOOT=ReallySuppress

>msiexec.exe /i E:\install\LJM130\LM129x64.msi /qn /l*v E:\install\LJM130\LM129x64_install_2.log TRANSFORMS=LM129x64_1045.mst ENTERPRISE=YES FAX=NO CONNECT_NEW_PRINTER_SHORTCUT=NO UNINSTAL_SHORTCUT=NO REBOOT=ReallySuppress

What could be the reason that the printer does not install?

I couldn't see any possible cause by the command itself, may you able to share the logs via a private message?

Thanks,

I can see the installation fails with error 1603 which usually occurs due to lack of permissions.

Please ensure you run the installation with an elevated admin account, try logging in as a local administrator account on the computer and then run the MSIEXEC using a Command Prompt as Admin.

The installation was done with the administrator level and the MSIEXEC was running as Admin, but the error still occurs

I was able to install the printer on Windows Server 2008 R2 but unfortunately, despite the fact that I see the printer, no prints come out even test page
