Recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. I attempted to uninstall the 110A under devices and printers and attempted to reinstall using HP Easy Start. The clock says checking my software needs, but it just keeps running ( over 1/2 hour now. Also, under HP scan and print doctor when I attempt to check ink remaining I get a popup bos saying the devide connection may be lost or the device may not have be installed. I've tried everything to get it to work properly. The printer does print and scan but you have to check the little window on the printer to find your ink levels.

Not exactly the same but this is the only mention on the many sheets I have searched of an HP110a. My machine is old and I was installing new cartridges when one signalled an error and I reset it as often happens. This time I am getting the message 'Ink system failure 0xc19a0020' which will not go away even after switching off/on and reset completely as per the online virtual assistant. No other solution has been offered so I am asking the community. Would be good if you could help please.
