I downloaded the program into my new computer and in order for it to complete the installation, I was instructed to go out of S mode in the computer. Then i was told that if I did, it would not be good for the computer and i would not be able to go back into S mode. I need to connect to my printer. What can/should I do? Can you please help me by telling me what to do? Is there another way around this so that I can complete this installation?
Thank you.

"S" mode is a limited version of Windows.
While in S mode, the only download / installation options are those application you can install from the Microsoft Store
As far as "not good for the computer" - this is not necessarily the case.
You have to decide whether you want to put up with S mode or install a Full version of Windows.
Yes, it is true that once you leave "S" mode, you cannot go back to S mode.
Switching out of S mode in Windows 10
Reminder, this is a One-Way-Ticket: Once you leave “S” mode, you cannot go back to “S” mode.
Brother Printer
If you do switch out of S mode, you can likely install the full driver software for your Brother printer.
If you do not switch out of S mode, check in the Microsoft Store for a compatible application for your printer.
Go to the Brother printer support site to find help and drivers for your Brother printer.

You may need to contact Brother for further guidance on issues with their product.
