Installing a HP M110WE printer without wifi

Hi, 

I am using the M110WE on my school computer. My previous HP printer just plugged and played. I did it this time and selected the printer from the windows 10 printer list and it worked for a couple of sheets, now printing has stopped, and I've got a flashing explanation mark. I don't have access to the school wifi and the technicians are not keen on installing HP smart app on the school system. Is there any way of just printing without the hassle of registering for HP smart app.
