I just installed High Sierra.  Printer no longer worked so I uninstalled it.  I tried installing new drivers using HP Support but it could never find the printer.  I installed printer using System Preferences.  Now the printer works but not the scanner.  I went back to HP Support to see if installing the drivers from there would fix the scanner.  HP Support still cannot find the printer.   Even put the IP address in and still no luck.  I tried all the troubleshooting suggestions, but no success.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

The printer is connected by wireless.  I restored the network parameters to default as recommended but that did not help.  My HP laptop also had some connection issues but they were easily resolved using HP Print and Scan Doctor.
