Hi All. I'm trying to install the IRM Solution for HP Access Control on an E87660. The agent isn't getting pushed down from the AC server and when I try to upload the solution file (HPAC-SPPE-Agent-20160912-Bundle-0-install.prn) manually in the Web GUI for the printer, that isn't working as the file is either corrupt or incorrect.
Any advise or know where I can get the correct solution file to upload?

If you have Access Control then typically you will have a support contract and should be able to contact support to get help with this. If you are running a demo copy of Access Control it may not support advanced features.

Hi Repairatrooper,
HP Technical Support have been absolutely terrible. Each time I call, I either get someone who puts me on hold and then doesn't come back, or they cannot find the printer serial number i'm dealing with so can't create the ticket number until they investigate. I'm running out of ideas!

Can you please clarify what software you are trying to install. A link would help as there are a few different Access control solutions and standard hardware support is not likely the right people to speak to.

Have you tried using the solution installer section to the EWS to install the Rights Management file?
Maybe things are different in Australia, but here in Canada, any of clients running Access Control and have a support contract have a contact number to agents who are experts in supporting this product and they have never been stumped. If you are talking to regular hardware support agents they likely have no idea beyond a script on how to support this. I suggest you engage the dealer you purchased the software through to act on your behalf with HP.
