Hi @sympatica9,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

HP LaserJet 1018 Printer driver for windows 11 is not available from the HP website. However, you can install the printer using windows built-in drivers

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you so much for replying, but your link took me to a page I have tried before: After many hours of trying all these things, it seems my product (which worked perfectly with my older laptop, Windows 10) simply doesn't show up with my Windows 11 laptop. It is out of warantee. A perfectly good printer now will end up in a landfill.

The help pages are out of date. When I go into "Windows 11 issues" it tells me how to download Windows 11. It's a new laptop with Windows 11 on it. I can't update the drivers on the printer (if that's what's needed) because I can't communicate with the printer. I have goe to 123.HP I have downloaded HP Smart (it's still looking for my printer) and nothing works.

HP Smart is not compatible with your printer.

If windows built-in drivers aren't helping, there is nothing much we could do.

Hope this helps!
