@fani_ortizsol, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer Issues!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it.
- Wait about 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on.
Check the Printer Connection:
- Make sure the printer is properly connected to your computer or network via Wi-Fi or USB.
- If using Wi-Fi, try re-connecting to the network or resetting the Wi-Fi connection on the printer.
Review Printer Settings:
- Ensure that your printer is set as the default printing device.
- Verify that the correct printer driver is installed on your computer.
Clear Print Queue:
- Go to your computer’s settings and find the printer you are using.
- Check the printer queue for any pending jobs and clear them.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Visit the HP website to see if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model.
Check for Ghost Prints (Science Fiction Sheets):
- If unrelated material like science fiction sheets is being printed, ensure no unintended documents are queued.
- Check installed applications that might be generating unwanted print jobs.
Perform a Factory Reset:
- As a last resort, perform a factory reset on your printer. This will erase current settings and restore it to default conditions. Consult the printer manual for instructions on how to do this.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
