I haven't had my Deskjet 2732 set up for a while. Just tried to get it going. Everything is connected, good wireless, it acknowledged the printer but says it is offline. When I went through the setup, I chose to manually pick the printer but the 2700 series is not on the list. Is it too old now?

If your HP DeskJet 2732 setup process, Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Download and Install the Latest Drivers:

  • Visit the official HP support website.
  • Search for your printer model (DeskJet 2732) and download the latest drivers for your operating system.
  • Install the downloaded drivers on your computer.

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Allow the printer to complete its startup process before attempting to print again.

Check Wireless Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same wireless network as your computer.
  • Double-check the wireless settings on your printer to make sure it has a stable connection.

Restart Your Computer:

  • Sometimes, a simple restart of your computer can help resolve communication issues with the printer.

Update Your Operating System:

  • Ensure that your computer's operating system is up to date. Updates may include improvements and bug fixes that could affect printer functionality.

Check Printer Status:

  • On your computer, go to the Control Panel or Settings, and then navigate to "Devices" or "Printers & Scanners."
  • Find your DeskJet 2732 printer in the list and make sure it's set as the default printer.
