HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free tool designed for Windows operating system to diagnose and resolve common printing and scanning problems, such as missing or corrupt print drivers, connectivity issues, firewall issues. I'm afraid, its not available for Mac OS X. 

Any error when you try to print?

How is the printer connected, USB or Wireless?

What's the printer model?
