Hi All,
I have a HP Envy 6010 Printer.
I have been given a project to printer a small images on some pre printed cards which or not of standard size. When I measure the cards they are 146cm x 93cm. So I proceed to make a Custom Page of the same dimensions. I am allowed to set it up the Custom Page but when I want to use it it does not appear in the list.
I have checked the spec's of my printer and if I am correct it should be able to print on this size.
Also every image I have to print on the card is of a different size so I have to position differently for every card. Can somebody recommend a process or software which will allow me to see exact how the image is going to fit on the page.
Currently i am using up too many of the printed cards trying to get it in the right spot.
Any help would me greatly appreciated.
Regards
Desmond

If you have not done so, Install the Full Feature Software / Full Driver printer software
Doing so will help - particularly if you are printing from Word - and also when printing PDF and Images using other software or applications.

Paper Size / Paper Weight
Recheck both the paper size AND the paper weight to be sure your little cards are supported in the printer.
| Media Sizes Custom (imperial) | Simplex:3x5 to 8.5x11.7; Duplex:3 x 5.5 to 8.5 x 11.7 |
| Media Sizes Custom (metric) | Simplex: 76.2 x 127 mm to 216x297mm; Duplex: 76.2 x 127 mm to 216x297mm |
| Media Weights Supported, By Paper Path (Imperial) | Letter: 16 to 24 lb; HP envelopes: 20 to 24 lb; HP cards: up to 53 lb; HP 4 x 6 inch photo paper: up to 80 lb |
| Media Weights Supported, By Paper Path (metric) | A4: 60 to 90 g/m²; HP envelopes: 75 to 90 g/m²; HP cards: up to 200 g/m²; HP 10 x 15 cm photo paper: up to 300 g/m² |
146 mm = 5.7 inches
93 mm = 3.7 inches

After you load the paper into the printer, alert the printer to the "custom" paper size.
Not every printer supports selecting Custom - hopefully yours will allow you do to so.
Example - Retain / Modify / Check Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper Management

The last part - that of centering different sized images on each card is either easy or more difficult depending on the size of the image you have, what you are willing to do, and the result you need.
If you are up for it, you could try using Print and Editing Software that gives you a bit of control over the content.
I think this software will give you access to that custom paper size template you have created...
(You still need to have installed the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software...)

Your screenshot shows a custom size in mm not cm. That might be your problem because 93mm would not be a supported size but 930mm would be.

@Dego Apparently we are both struggling with measurements today. I blame Canada's failure to fully commit to the metric system years ago.
