On Windows 11 I start to have print and scan issues with HP OfficeJet 3834.
Every time I turn on the printer and Windows for the fist time the scan is not recognized also is not possibile to print.
I tried to download latest Software on the HP website but without success.
I cannot contact HP because warranty is expired and I don't wanna pay for a HP software issue.
How can I get help to have software compatible with Windows 11?
Seems is Windows 11 that has always issue with the spolier service.

I'm testing, maybe the printer by network or a PDF printer was set as default printer and this caused the issue.
Maybe set the USB printer as default one (this has been flagged and done by Microsoft fix tool) seems can resolve the print issue. Let me test if the scanner also work: testing...

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Here's what you need to do:
- Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list.
- Restart the PC
- Close all programs
- download only this complete package: HP OfficeJet 3830 series Print and Scan Driver and Accessories
- Close all programs
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the File name: Full_Webpack-40.15.1230-OJ3830_Full_Webpack.exe (160.1 MB)
- The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
- Restart the System again
- Now the installation is complete.
Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.

Thanks for the reply @Andr-1611 but unfortunately I have already done this.
When I turn off and on again PC and printer I get the error showed above.. printer not found so scanner doesn't work and also printer. I have also posted today in the Microsoft community.
I have reinstalled Windows 11 also but same issue with the HP printer.

Has the USB connection been tried?
Copying works without connecting the printer?

Thank you for your message.
This issue is simply unresolvable at the moment.
An HP agent connected to my PC but was not able to resolve the issue and simply told me it's an USB issue caused probably by the cable but is not this the issue: after a Windows repair or HP Doctor process the printer start to work by USB again until the next PC start.
In those days I also reinstalled my Windows 11 so also the printer but the issue still be the same: the printer seems work only by using the network, not USB.
I asked also on Microsoft forum where also other user asked me if I resolved because they have the same issue.
Nothing to do, HP and Windows 11 never work for me.
There is no solution from HP and even in the Microsoft community.
