I downloaded the HP Smart App for my printer. Although when I sign-in via the App it gives me the message “No Internet Connection” even though I can clearly connect to the internet via my device. I have tried numerous trouble-shoots with updating my device, un-installing to re-installing, and updating the printer firmware. Please help!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)?
- Are you able to print from other devices?
- Did you make any changes to the settings of your Printer prior to the issue?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Restart your printer, router, and mobile device:
-
Turn off the printer, and then turn it on again.
-
Disconnect the power cable from the router, wait ten seconds, reconnect the cable, and then wait for the internet connection to complete.
-
Turn off your phone or tablet, and then turn it on again. If the issue persists, follow the next steps.
Hard reset:
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for posting back.
- Are the printer and iOS connected to the same network?
- Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
- What is the distance between the router and the printer?
Keep me posted for further assistance.
