I just bought this printer 2/12/25 since I have gotten it I have not been able to use it other than print the align page.

 

I have been on the support chat through HP smart I will summarize the bullet points.

 

When I go through the set up my PC is set to my 5G even tried my 2.4. It won.t connect through the set up When I do the add printer.

 It then shows the printer on the screen, but setup is not complete, and it shows the printer is online. If I click on it says:

Select a Different Printer HP Officejet Pro 8130e must be turned on to add it to HP smart once it is turned on tap ok to refresh. Well, It is powered on, and I do that and same message. The power button on this one doesn't work so I unplug it and same. So, I reset factory settings. Same issue. 

 

Chat has had me uninstall hp smart and redownload it and a few other things I am at the same issue.

 

It won't connect to my Wi-Fi, I took it to my parents' house it won't connect to theirs, it shows online and powered on but it says it is offline.

So far on both my phones it has yet to detect the printer. Same for the hpsmart app on my tablet.  using the0 mobile ap

 

The printer is connected to the same WiFi as my pc.  @ferRX

Hi @FerRX,

 

So the latest on the mobile app on the video, it tells me the same as my hp smart on my pc to make sure my printer is power on (which it is)  and make sure the internet and my mobile device are connected to the same internet. Which they are. I have tried 2.4 and 5G get the same message.

 

Error code 0W_4XX_0WSWS00001

 

Even wired with a ethernet it tells me I need to turn it on. It is powered on I  moved my pc to another outlet and it still tells me the same thing.
