Microsoft Windows 11

Printer above no longer gives me the option to print front & back since going to Windows 11. All other functions seem to be fine.

Hi@TallBill,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Laser Jet Printer not printing front and back.

I have a few recommendations

  • To use a menu bar option to open this window, click File > Print in most apps. You will see a “Print” window on your screen. Here, select your printer and then click the “Preferences” button. On the “Printing Preferences” window that opens, enable the “Duplex Printing (Manual)” option.
  • Open the file to be printed, then open the printer Properties dialog box. Click the Printing Shortcuts tab, and then click Two-sided, duplex, printing. In the Print on both sides drop-down list, click Automatically (see Figure above). Select any other print settings wanted, and then click OK
  • Click this link for further help https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c01909142
  • Click this link to to see if your printer is supported in Windows 11, as well as the compatible software and drivers available to download. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
