Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

In the early 90s, I purchased an HP Laserjet 4MP printer. It's been a workhorse. I'm attempting to set up with a newer "IBM Computer" (from the original User Manual) LOL
I've downloaded the correct Driver from HP website and I'm not able to install. What is the last operating system compatible with this product? Any workaround? Would love use this printer again for sentimental value.

Serial number I think is C2040A

 

Side note...My first professional boss said to me in his strong Texas accent, "If you purchase yourself Hewlett Packard printer, you'll NEVER regret it". His advice was spot on. I sure wish I had that recorded as it makes me smile every time I think of it.

How are you connecting? By parallel? If so, you may need to find an older version of the UPD driver as current ones do not list support. Your other option is to check Windows updates when installing and select a driver shown as compatible for a model such as the 4000 series.
