LaserJet Pro M15a

Good evening, I have a problem with the LaserJet Pro M15a printer. I connected it to my MacBook Pro (Big sur) but it doesn't want to know about the print. That is, the printer is connected correctly. I tried to download HP Easy Star but it tells me I don't have permissions for this software. Please help me. Thanks

To assist you better, how is the printer connected to the Mac?

To resolve this issue, please install the latest macOS updates.


Check the connectivity and re-download the HP Easy Start from the HP Support site.

Apologies for jumping in, please be sure to install the printer using HP Easy Start as it is not an AirPrint enabled printer.


Following below steps by order would allow you to install and use your printer on a Mac computer:


Follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:


As soon as HP Easy start prompts to install HP Smart, close HP Easy Start and press the Skip to Software Download button, then follow the steps on screen to complete the installation and check for any difference.



Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
